Changes to competition format:

For MIST Atlanta 2025, the Qur’an Recitation competition will be held virtually and follow an early submission format. Competitors will book a live Zoom time slot to recite their selected passage in front of a proctor between: March 31st – April 11th, 2025

We strongly encourage you to book your slot as soon as possible to ensure flexibility and avoid scheduling conflicts.

Video Call Requirements during your scheduled recitation, please ensure the following:

1.    MIST ID: You must have your MIST ID available to verify your identity on camera.

2.    Quiet Room: Be in a quiet space with no background noise or distractions.

3.    Mushaf Display: You must show your Mushaf clearly on video before beginning. The Mushaf must not be color-coded.

Failure to follow these requirements may result in disqualification or a request for resubmission.
